Hello everybody and welcome back to the blog heard ‘round the world. I just got back from a trip to the pacific northwest and I have so much to tell. But first, I have to go take a nap because jet lag is real.

Okay! I’m kidding, but it really does mess up your sleep schedule. I have not had the pleasure to travel much, and I have never been out to the west coast, so when my boyfriend Jake found out he was going to be playing in a tournament in Seattle, I knew I had to go too. ( In case you were wondering, my boyfriend is a professional golfer, no big deal). Anyway, back to me, I had no Idea what to expect. All I knew was that its rainy, and that there are mountains.

Seattle blew all my expectations out of the water. Its is the most unique place I have every been! There’s water, a city, and mountains all in one. We stayed at the most beautiful hotel called The Sound Hotel in the Belltown area. The décor in the hotel was amazing. I definitely got some inspiration for my own apartment from this hotel. Our first day in the city, I decided to get dressed up and do a photoshoot in the hotel room. Check out the results!

And the view from the hotel was amazing! They have a rooftop balcony that over looks The Space Needle.

We only had one day to walk around the city, so we were not able to go to all the attractions, but we did get to make a stop at the Pike Place Market. It was pure and utter chaos to be honest, trust me when I tell you there was people everywhere. We also found this really good Mexican restaurant called Taqueria Cantina - Downtown where I had a fabulous Jalapeño Margarita, so naturally I took a picture of it.

Near the restaurant there was some these really cool stairs called Harbor Steps Apartments , and my boyfriend suggested we take a few photos and I’m so glad he did! I think they came out great.

Next, we went to the aquarium. Unfortunately, because of covid we were unable to go in, but we were able to get some really cool pictures. The aquarium is built on a pier down by the water, and the background there is a Ferris wheel and a few mountains. I really love how these came out!

I saved my favorite place in Seattle for last. On the northern part of Seattle there is Discovery Park. Its an absolute pain in the butt if you need to park your car, but the photo opportunities are worth the hassle. We had to walk about a mile and a half to get to the famous lighthouse, but its was a hiking trail through the woods with breathtaking views. When we finally got to the lighthouse, the sun came out and it was angelic. I’ve literally ever been to a more beautiful place, I kid you not. Anyway, I’m going to quit talking about it and just let you see for yourself.

After our short time in Seattle (I must go back!!) we then ventured to the real place we came to Washington for, Dupont. Dupont is a very pretty mountainous town of Washington. More specifically, the golf course that Jake played at, The Home Course was extremely gorgeous and had a great view of Mount Ranier. One afternoon while we were there we attempted to take some pictures in front of the mountain, but unfortunately it was too cloudy to capture it. We did however take some really beautiful pictures. Keep scrolling to see for yourself.
