Hello, and welcome back everybody to Ash Nichole attempts to blog… again. Today I want to talk to you guys about chasing after your dreams. It all started for me when I was a little kid. My mom used to do a little modeling on the side and often she would take me with her. Immediately there after, all I wanted to do was model. Fast forward a few years and there I was, I had fulfilled my dream… or had I.
During one session in particular, I remember becoming very interested in the photography side of the shoot. I talked to the photographer about angles, and lighting, and decided that I wanted to try that side of things. I went out and bought a Sony A6000 and started seeing what I could do. I started small with a couple of friends but eventually overtime I started booking a few clients through word of mouth.
Jump ahead a little bit to the winter of 2018. I opened up an all day mini session shoot and just about sold out the entire day. I thought to myself, “maybe I can make a profession out of this”. As time went by, I fell in love with outdoor shoots. I love nature, and I found a passion in trying to find beauty everywhere I am. I think I had always felt this way, and that is what initially caught my eye about photography.
With all this being said, Its 2021 and I am finally in a place where I am ready to take off. I have narrowed my focus down to senior photo shoots and weddings. I shot my first wedding in March of this year and It was a huge success. After seeing how those photos came out I decided that I definitely wanted to continue with wedding photography. I am now subscribed to The Knot and to The Wedding Wire where you can find my profile with pricing and photos of past shoots I have done.
On the other hand, I love getting to plan and put together the perfect senior shoot. Maybe it’s the former model in me, but I believe every girl deserves to be pampered. I have three different packages tailored just for you, with amenities like professional hair and makeup. I also add in model coaching and work directly with you on outfits for the shoots. Nothing makes me happier, (well other than my boyfriend of course), than getting to see one of my clients faces when they see the finished product.
