Spring Senior Portrait Session at UNC Botanical Gardens

Abbie wanted to take her senior portraits with all the blooming flowers at UNC Botanical Gardens. She wore the prettiest floral dress and brought a bouquet of flowers as a prop. Her mom came along and we had some much fun exploring the garden and experimenting with shots. I think her pictures turned out so beautiful. I especially like the shots of her with the white flowers.

If you decide that you want to take pictures at UNC Botanical Gardens, I recommend choosing an afternoon timeslot. The trees tend to block a lot of incoming light and can cause images to be a little moody. I like a mood look, but if you want something bright and happy looking, then earlier in the day is the best time for you! There is also three gardens at UNC, so when choosing your location, always do you research and try to pick the garden that fits the look you are going for. You can view their gardens here!
