Prom Photoshoot at First Ward Park in Charlotte NC

Since I work with high school seniors often for their senior and graduation photos, it’s just fitting that I would also take prom and homecoming portraits as well, and I am NOT complaining! Finding gowns for my creative shoots can get expensive very quickly, but during prom season, I get an excuse to take pictures of gorgeous gowns!! We decided to take these portraits at First Ward Park so that we could capture the beautiful city skyline but also have the option to take some floral pictures as well. Minnie and Cristal from Dream Team 23 did a phenomenal job posing and I am especially obsessed with the pictures of them in the dogwood tree! If you ever want to take some awesome photos in the city, I highly suggest First Ward Park. The parking is pretty good (street and parking lots around there), the architecture is unique, there are steps for sit-down photos and during the spring, there are lots of flowers in bloom!
