The Heirloom Christmas Experience invites you into a richly layered world of old-world elegance, timeless traditions, and nostalgic holiday charm. Inspired by the warmth and refinement of a Victorian Christmas, this one-of-a-kind set is filled with heirloom details designed to feel as though they've been lovingly collected over generations.
Picture polished wood, deep jewel tones, glowing candlelight, lush garlands, and vintage Christmas villages tucked throughout the space. A beautifully styled piano creates the perfect setting for timeless portraits, while a handcrafted Victorian dollhouse and thoughtfully curated décor add a sense of wonder and nostalgia.
Many of the pieces featured throughout this experience are being handcrafted by your photographer specifically for this year's event, making this setup truly one-of-a-kind and unlike anything else offered in the Charlotte area.
With subtle Ralph Lauren-inspired sophistication woven throughout, this session is perfect for families and couples who are drawn to traditional holiday aesthetics, meaningful details, and the magic of Christmases past.

Each mini session includes 2 professionally edited high-resolution digital images, making it the perfect option for families who need just a few beautiful images for holiday cards, gifts, or seasonal keepsakes.
Receive a gallery of 100+ images to choose from, then select your favorites for professional editing.
After your session, you'll receive a proof gallery containing 100+ images to browse through and select your favorites. These images will be lightly culled and presented in an unedited proof format so that you can choose the photographs you love most before final editing takes place.
Once you've made your selections, your chosen images will be individually edited in Ash Nichole Photos' signature style. Families who fall in love with more than two images will have the option to purchase additional photographs or upgrade to a larger collection.
This approach keeps the session affordable for those who only need a few images while giving every family the opportunity to view a wide variety of moments and invest in additional photographs if desired.

Fast Turnaround
Choose your two included images to be delivered within 7 business days to ensure plenty of time for holiday card ordering. Any remaining purchased images will be delivered within 15 business days.
Family Members Photographed
Session pricing includes up to four immediate family members. Additional immediate family members may be added for $15 per person.
Please note that these mini sessions are designed for parents and their children only and are not intended for extended family or multi-generational photo shoots. Due to the limited space and timing of the setup, we cannot accommodate two families sharing a mini session. If you would like photographs with grandparents, extended family members, or multiple generations, I recommend booking one of my full one-hour sessions or two mini sessions back to back. How many digital images are included?
Mini sessions are designed as an affordable option for families who may only need a few special images for holiday cards, gifts, or seasonal keepsakes. Each session includes two high-resolution digital images.
After viewing your gallery, additional images may be purchased.
Additional Image Pricing:
Each additional image: $10
Upgrade to 20 extra images: $100
Upgrade to 40 extra images: $150
Upgrade to all images from your session (unedited for keepsake purposes) plus 40 professionally edited images in both color and black & white: $200
Will the setup look exactly like the inspiration photos?
Because holiday events are planned many months in advance, final setup photographs are not available at the time of booking. Inspiration images are provided to communicate the overall vision, style, and atmosphere of the experience.
While minor details may vary due to prop availability or design refinements, every effort is made to ensure the final experience closely reflects the concept presented.
The piano images shown here were photographed by Ash Nichole Photos at the exact location last season. These real images inspired the creation of the Victorian Christmas room addition this year.
This next image showcases an AI rendering of the actual room with the planned Victorian Christmas additions incorporated.
The images that follow are inspirational reference photos that will guide the styling, décor, and overall atmosphere of the final set design.
Can I book a longer session?
Absolutely. Families are welcome to reserve back-to-back mini sessions to create additional shooting time.
When booking consecutive sessions, the four-person limit is raised to six. Please keep in mind that these Victorian Christmas Mini Sessions are designed to create artistic, lived-in, storytelling images filled with genuine interaction and connection rather than traditional standing-still family portraits.
Because these sessions are intentionally interactive, the more family members included, the more challenging it becomes to capture authentic candid moments. For the best experience and results, we recommend limiting participation to six people or fewer with even smaller groupings getting the best results. If your primary goal is a posed portrait of your entire extended family or a larger group, please contact us to discuss portrait session options that may be a better fit for your needs.

Unfortunately, these Victorian Christmas Mini Sessions are not pet-friendly this year due to venue policies. If you'd like to include your furry family members in your holiday photos, please contact me to learn about pet-friendly session options that may be available.
What happens if me or my child gets sick?
Because holiday mini sessions require venue reservations, staffing, and extensive preparation, all mini session bookings are non-refundable and non-transferable by default.
For added peace of mind, clients may purchase the Mini Session Protection Plan for $39 at the time of booking.
The Protection Plan allows you to reschedule your session up to the night before your scheduled session if an immediate family member participating in the session experiences:
Illness or injury
An unexpected medical circumstance
If a covered event occurs, your session may be transferred to another available mini session of equal value during the current Christmas season, subject to availability.
If all Christmas mini sessions are sold out, your session credit may instead be applied toward a future Ash Nichole Photos seasonal mini session event of equal value at Lake Norman during the following spring or summer season.
Please note:
Protection Plans must be purchased at the time of booking and cannot be added later.
The Protection Plan does not cover schedule conflicts, vacations, work obligations, sporting events, forgotten appointments, weather preferences, transportation issues, or changes of mind.
Session credits may only be applied to mini sessions of equal value and may not be applied toward full sessions, weddings, or other photography services.
No refunds will be issued under the Protection Plan.
