  • First on the list is Wing Haven Garden & Bird Sanctuary, a beautiful respite for birds, and a welcoming place of natural beauty. This location is a dynamic living laboratory featuring something in bloom every day all year long. This unique destination provides for stunning backgrounds for family portraits and senior pictures near you in Charlotte, NC.

  • Also a magical place for family photography as well as senior pictures in Charlotte, is the Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden. With a breathtaking Visitor Pavilion and 110 acres of spectacular gardens, sparkling fountains, walking trails, unique vegetation, architecture and more, there are so many opportunities for senior yearbook pictures, family photography and all kinds of photoshoots here!

  • The McGill Rose Garden is the perfect place for family portraits in Charlotte. This 2-acre city park hosts weddings and private events, and is a perfect place for an elegant family portrait or romantic engagement session. Nestled in the heart of downtown, the garden is a beautiful, peaceful respite from the fast paced city.

  • Independence Park is Charlotte, North Carolina’s first public park. It is perfect for all types of portrait sessions, with stone architecture, a reflecting pond, gazebo, gorgeous trees and walkways. With excellent views of the Charlotte skyline, but a secluded and tranquil atmosphere, the park provides lovely backgrounds for family portraits, senior portraits and yearbook pictures, as well as headshot and romantic photography.

  • Noda is the art district of Charlotte. There are brightly colored murals, sculptures, galleries, unique buildings, and an eclectic neighborhood with a full Charlotte skyline view. This is my favorite place to take senior photos, and provides amazing backgrounds for family and senior pictures.

The distinctive trees and gardens provide numerous opportunities for unique and stunning backgrounds.
