Dream Team 22 | Cow Girl Themed Photoshoot | Celestial Farms, Jacksonville Florida
Well, well, well…. this was a challenging photoshoot. I like to think that this photoshoot was the ultimate test to see if I am in fact a professional photographer. GOOD NEWS! I PASSED (well at least I think so). Let me know what you think in the comments. ;)
Let’s start with the WEEK OF RAIN that led up to this photoshoot. So, I just moved to Jacksonville in February. I was not aware that it rains literally everyday of the summer. Needless to say, I have had to reschedule a slew of photoshoots since June. This photoshoot was no different, other than the fact that I had eight high school seniors and 2 makeup artists that had to all be rescheduled when the rain hit. Not to mention, I had to reschedule with Celestial Farms as well. Any who, you get the point. It rained every day leading up to this shoot, I then rescheduled it, and guess what, it still rained on the back up date anyway.
In addition to the weather challenges, I also had to photograph eight different girls on a farm FULL OF ANIMALS. Yes, the animals were cute, but the only thing that I could focus on was how not to get kicked or nipped by the horses while also trying to stay dry under an umbrella, while simultaneously taking FABULOUS pictures of my senior model team.
These girls were troopers! They rocked it in the rain and manure, and I can honestly say that these are some of the best pictures I have ever taken.
